This bridge will only take you halfway there
To those mysterious lands you long to see:
Through gypsy camps and swirling Arab fairs
And moonlit woods where unicorns run free.
So come and walk awhile with me and share
The twisting trails and wondrous worlds I’ve known.
But this bridge will only take you halfway there-
The last few steps you’ll have to take alone.
by Shel Silverstein
Taking advantage of unseasonably warm temperatures a few months ago, I found myself exploring and discovering places ridiculously close to my home that I never knew existed! This place was beautiful, although I failed to capture the true fall colors with my phone. The bridge made it a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors while keeping a safe distance from others out doing the same!
These photos are doing double duty this week for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge- Bridges and Which Way Photo Challenge.
Happy Friday!
