Music to My Ears

music

Music is a major part of my life. I listen to music every single day and I recently took up playing the piano again. Being the parent of three band children and having 15 years as a music parent under my belt, I’ve heard a lot of music. This week’s theme for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Sense of Hearing brings to mind all of the music I’ve heard over the years.

My youngest son, Andrew, is a musician. From a very early age when he was humming in perfect pitch before he could talk to the first time he picked up a trombone, we knew this. I’ve spent 10 years listening to him practice, driving him to rehearsals and sitting at his performances. He attends one of the top music schools in the country and I could not be prouder. I can’t wait to see what he does.

CJ is an aspiring musician and Ari fancies herself to be a very fine singer.

Cee’s Black & White Challenge- Music

This post is part of Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge- Music.

It was hard for me to choose photos this week. Music has always filled my life. I played the piano when I was growing up. My husband and all my kids play many instruments. Andrew is going to school for musical performance. I have music teacher friends. My dad sings. The list goes on and on. I was finally able to settle on these. I really had to control myself! 🙂
