Who Said Red?

One of my kids’ favorite books was Who Said Red? by Mary Serfozo. We read it so many times when they were younger that I have it memorized to this day. When the next generation of little guys started coming around, it was a must for our home library. Luckily I couldn’t let go of many of our favorite children’s books after my own kids grew up so we still had our original copy. It’s a cute story about a boy who is looking for something red and his sister keeps teasing him, asking if he said green or yellow or an assortment of colors. Long after my children stopped reading this book, at any given time when someone says red, we have been known to throw out a random line from this book.

When I saw the topic for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Red, that book was the first thing to come to mind.

I hope this little bit of red brightens your day!
