Not a Happy Camper

All I wanted to do was write a post about the Kat Got Your Tongue Challenge taking a break. That’s all.

Oh yes, and to explain, apologize, make excuses, cry, whine and wail about being sick and then being tied up while my son, Andrew, was home for spring break and various other tidbits.

And WP goes and changes things on me! I can’t even complete a post without losing it. That sidebar on the left is completely throwing me off. I’m behind on my writing, reading, commenting and liking all your awesome posts!!!

And worst of all is my sister is coming to town and my siblings need something from me. To get back story, you can read about it- The Apple Cart and then more  Square Peg. This will explain why I’m less than thrilled with this upcoming visit.

And if you feel a disturbance within the force later this week, my apologies…..

  1. Hang in there and don’t panic, I don’t think any of us here are going anywhere while you have to deal with all this unexpected stuff.
Take a ten minute break, have a coffee/tea, relax, refresh you mind, and come back to it. I find that helps when I find myself in the same situation.
Hope you’ve had a great time while Andrew is home.

    1. I’m finally catching my breath. I’m going to regroup this weekend. I’ve made it clear to everyone here that I really NEED downtime to just think and organize my thoughts.

It was so nice to spend time with Andrew. We will hopefully be visiting him in NY sometime in the next 2 months. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Kris! My sister is going to be very disappointed when she has to lug her suitcase of rotten apples back home with her! 🙂

And thanks for the recipe!!! I’ve definitely got to try that! 🙂

  2. I was just rereading the post where you nominated me for an award…and you lost that one too….WordPress can be a real pain sometimes… I’m sorry it happened yet again. I have saved the old Dashboard as a favorite in Chrome as well as the Old Stats because the new stuff is so non-user friendly. Hang in there Kat – I’m actually going to formally thank you in a blog post..5 months later!

    1. Thanks for reading. I took another look at those posts when I decided to link them to this post. It’s funny how I don’t feel like I need to gather up all my strength anymore. I just look at my kids and it’s really easy to stay strong. I predict having a few very unhappy siblings by this time next week but hey, isn’t that what sisters are for? To be major pains every now and then? lol

    1. It’s a family joke. All I have to say is “If there’s a disturbance in the force or a major shift in the weather pattern….” and my kids know she’s coming. (She might not be amused if she knew….)
