Photography 101, Weekend Three: Hone Your Camera Eye

“Observe and capture an entire scene, but also zooming in within it. Stick to architecture if you’d like: capture the size and essence of a building, but get close to record its decorative details. Or, choose something different — a farmer’s market, a festival, a soccer match — and take establishing shots while also looking for smaller moments within the scene.”

I didn’t get out much this past weekend but I was able to take a quick walk on Lower Wacker Drive by the river.

Photography 101: Swarm

While at a conference in Chicago this weekend, I was sitting in the hotel lobby when I looked up and saw a swarm of glass balls.
