  1. There is no such things as “looking Italian”. 😀 My best friend is half Sicilian and half Neapolitan, but he looks like me, real fair skin, steel blue eyes, and light brown hair. You only knew he was Italian because of his name, when formalized. Living in Jersey myself, lots of Italians around here looking like everyone from everywhere. If you pronounce my name, on occasion I have people ask if I am, because I tend to throw a ton of Spanishisms and Italianisms into my idiolect, but I am the only guy out of my cousins (along with a sister) who isn’t Italian or part-Italian. (Maybe? A fourth of my heritage is unknown because one parent never grew up knowing who their father was.) While I don’t mind singing to my operas and arias in Tuscan Italian, in my everyday speech, any Italian word is spoken like it’s said in Jersey and NYC 😉

  2. 😀 Ha! You nominated me. I actually read it with the intent of seeing if I would be bestowed such an honor. Funny thing is, I already have a Versatile Blogger Award post to write for this week (where I will be nominating you. I guess this means we like interacting with each other.) Maybe, I will combine that with this. I love how short and sweet this version of the concept is. Should be fun to put together. Thanks for including me in your noms, Kat. 😀

    1. You are welcome! I definitely enjoy our conversations. When I was scrolling up and down the list of blogs I followed and realized that I wasn’t seeing yours, I panicked. 🙂

      1. Well, if you couldn’t tell, I also enjoy our conversations.

*That* is seriously sweet. 😀 I hardly look at that list. Maybe I should use it more often (because at this moment, I honestly couldn’t say how many people follow me, how many I follow, and who they all are). I tend to just go right to the Reader to find the newest posts by you and others that I follow.

      2. Well…..that’s what I was doing too and then I noticed that someone who posts multiple times a day had not posted in days. That was my first clue that I had unfollowed him and others. I’m probably missing a few people.
